The NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NPCA) and the Global Partnership Initiative on Results and Mutual Accountability (GPI R & MA) organized the Regional Kick-off Workshop for the Pilot Programme for Enhancing the Use of Country Results Frameworks. The Workshop was held during 20-21 April 2015, Nairobi, Kenya.

The aim of the workshop was be to develop an action plan for 2015 that will serve the first pilot countries countries: Benin, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda and Uganda. Specifically, the engagement focussed on the issues below:

  • Sharing of individual Country Results Frameworks (CRF) and key improvement issues;
  • Possibilities for mutual support on the each country’ identified areas of improvement;
  • Identification of Development Partners that each participating country wishes to work with on the CRF;
  • Possible changes in the measurement of GPEDC Indicator 1 (use of country results frameworks);
  • Action plan for in-country and between-country learning for action;
  • Regional support activities.
