Capacity development strategic framework at work
A case study of a national community driven programme in Cameroon.
One of the vital factors for the success of the National Community Driven Development Programme, in Cameroon was ensuring certain capacities were in place. The program focused on the following capacities: Citizen Empowerment, Evidence-based Knowledge, Transformation and Integrated Planning and Implementation. These are a part of the Capacity Development Strategic Framework of the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD). NEPAD believes that capacity development is key for African Development.
